[Feeback] Issues with Main Menu

Two issues I've noticed and have been able to consistently reproduce...

1)  If you load a saved game (SP for sure, possibly MP), exit that game to go to the main menu, then try and start a new game, you cannot access the game options or victory options once you've selected a map...

2)  If you hit your hotkey to turn the game into window mode, then exit the game, the next time you start the game it will start in window mode...okay, that seems logical, no problems there...however, I didn't want the game to be in window mode so I hit my hotkey again to turn it to fullscreen...unfortunately, every time I went back to the main menu, the game spontaneously reverted to window mode, which became rather annoying...had to go to the setting file, change it to fullscreen, then start the game...

1) thanks, we've reproduced this and will get it fixed

2) having trouble reproducing this issue.  In testing it goes back to fullscreen every time the game is launched unless windowed mode was set in the options.  Can you reproduce this issue consistently?  Or did it only happen once?  Also, were any other settings changed after you used the keyboard shortcut to switch to windowed mod?

I am able to reproduce #2...here is a specific procedure:

  1. Start game via Steam (game is starting in fullscreen mode)
  2. Change to window mode via options menu
  3. Exit game by clicking X in the top right corner
  4. Restart game via Steam (game is starting in windowed mode)
  5. Click on single player
  6. Hit hotkey for toggling windowed mode (game is now in fullscreen)
  7. Hit back button to go to main menu (game reverts back to windowed mode)

I've gotten this problem to consistently occur with many variations of this procedure, but I'm hoping that something specific will help you guys...it is very important at step 6 that you use the hotkey, and not the options menu...as for step 2, it doesn't seem to matter whether you use the hotkey or options menu...

In case it matters, I did change which hotkey is tied to toggling window mode, and my native resolution is 1600x900...

Thanks for the repro steps, that helped a lot!  I was able to get the resizing when returning to main menu to reproduce.  However, once I changed it back to fullscreen in the options it didn't continue to occur.  Is this what you were seeing?  Or did it always resize after doing those steps?

Yes...the problem seems to only be with the hotkey IIRC...
