Yeah, growth seems to half my current size when I use it, although it still has the awesomesauce effects you'd expect. 
I'd guess it's probably someone's made the modifier 0.5 instead of 1.5 or something.
Yep, posted a bug report about it a few days ago (can't find it though, no forum search and my post history doesn't go back that far)
Happened to me a few times but only starting from certain point in the game - before it was working fine. Was still 0.75 though. Didn't report it as I wanted to rather report the really important stuff.
If I come across it again I'll post it on the ticket system including the debug.err - promise!
0.76: tried on a Champion. Worked fine. It allows me to select regular troops but doesn't work (I read the patchnotes that's why I mention it)
had this happen to me on a MOUNTED hero on 0.75, but on a unmounted hero it worked (again 0.75)
