WindowFX 4 issues

Hi all,

Just installed latest version of WindowFX 4 and rather like it a lot!

However, slight issue with it...

Animations are working ONLY with MIcrosoft Office 2007 applications (Outlook, Word, etc...) while other applications are opening, closing, minimising and maximising same as before!?!?!?!

Rest of WindowFX 4 effects are working fine so no problem there.

My system is Windows 7 Ultimate.

Any ideas?

Best idea will be WindowFX 5, coming soon - probably early December if predictions hold up. :)

As for what to do now to troubleshoot WFX4, hopefully someone else will have some ideas for you.

WindowFX 5 sounds great to me! (hopefully I get a free upgrade to it since I just bought version 4!?)

Saying all that - I love the version 4 as well I just need to get those animations working for all (or at least most) applications / windows.

Are you using WFX4 and are you experiencing same or similar issues with Animations not triggering with most applications on your system?

I have similar issues with windows live messenger. But i would wait for FX5 cause 4 is not all that.

Oh so I am not alone...

 

Basically, here is quick list of applications that WFX4 animations are WORKING with on my system:

Outlook

Word

Excel

GameStop Client

 

And here is list of apps that animations are NOT WORKING with:

Photoshop

Flash

InDesign and all other CS apps

Chrome (web browser)

CyberDuck

WinAmp

VLC

Steam

Skype

MSN Messenger

Notepad

LeaderTask

etc...

 

Hopefully version 5 will fix this!

Unless someone here knows of some trick that I can use...
