Desktop X clock object

I don't know of an "easy way" but the way I do it is to create a new vector layer with a vertical line which spans between the bottom of where I want my 12 and the top of where I want my 6. I then duplicate and rotate the line by 30 degrees. Repeat this step 4 times. I then create a new layer for my numbers and use the guidelines I just created to align the numbers. Afterwards I just delete the layer with the guidelines. This is the easiest way I know of to do it. Hope it helps a little.
