Why is TEC siege technology cheaper??

Anyone else notice that the tier 2 prototype tech for the Krosov takes less time to research than other tier 2 techs?  Just wondering if there was a reason for this...did the Krosov use to be a tier 1 tech like the other two siege frigates?  I wasn't around when the game was in its beginnings and I really don't feel like installing from the CD to check...

Probably a long-time issue. It'll be resolved in the v1.32 update.

They would just move on to update 10.00 if it got that bad.

Power creep can be fun at times.  We've certainly had power creep from capital ships in particular over the course of Sin's lifespan.

For TEC and Advent, the Wormhole navigation (tier 5) research times also do not correspond to normal times, they are too high (207 at normal game speed, when it should be 173 for tier 5).

The Vasari one (tier 4) is fine. :)
