How do you create .png file? Animated object on DesktopX

Hi guys!!
Objects on DesktopX really drive me crazy (you can tell that!) and lately I've been downloading (always) and saw others uploading it with cool design. I'm a designer too and have got some ideas but I don't know how to do that! Help me please.. (should I beg?)

png files can be created in most graphics programs. Just make sure that you save them as .png.
As far as animations in DX, they are really just frames stitched together horizontally. Check out some of the zoomers for a few good examples. Most of them use two bmp's or png's. One normal one, usually one frame. the other gets displayed upon mouseover. Say for instance it's ten frames. You have to make sure that each frame is the same size, as well as being the same size that the static (one frame bmp) is.
Hope this sort of explains it. Just woke up, so I am kind of fuzzy headed right now.

I used Adobe to create that but it kept saying This version of DesktopX only support 24 and 32 bit of png file. While my ADobe can't do that or I'm to dumb not to know how

Neo, your PNG has to have transparency to work in DX. If you have no transparent area, DX won't like it. So just leave a part of you image transparent, "save as web", select PNG 24 bits, check the "transparent" checkbox, and you're set.
Hope this helps.
