Anyone here do any kind of business that might be thought of as international?

Hey guys, I need a huge favor, and I'm hoping that maybe someone here can help me out.

I'm studying international business at a college in Helsinki, and one of our requirements is that we have to interview someone in the field. The only problem is that I don't know anyone that does any form of business internationally, and cold calling businesses is turning up nothing.

.. then I suddenly remembered the international community here, and figured it's definately worth a shot.

My interview won't be too in-depth and shouldn't take much of your time. I just need to email you some questions about what it is you do, what your qualifications are, what you feel you need to know in order to do your job, and any personal thoughts you might want to add.

Please guys, I'm desperate here. Heh, even skinning could be termed as international, or running a web site.. anything.

Thanks!

Plainsong,

I work for P&O Nedlloyd in the USA. We do have a office in Helsinki. If you would like, I could give the director there a call and ask if they could make a little time for your interview. Check out the link and let me know if it's anything you would be interested in.

International shipping and logistics? Sure that interests me. If you could do that for me I would _really_ appreciate it. I won't take much of their time. I could do the interview by phone, or in person, or by email if they if they perfer.. anyway Thanks!

Great. I will contact them on Monday and let you know. If the email in your profile works, , I will send you the details in the next day or so. If business etiqutte is similar in Finland I'm sure they would be happy to help a student. Hope it owrks out well for you...

Yeah, the email in my profile is good, and business ettiquette is the same here... but for some reason I keep getting "Nope, can't be bothered" for some reason. You'd think I was asking for details of the next big project... sheesh.

Anyway, thanks again.
