Desktop Icon Spacing Problem

When Fences is running, the grid that my desktop icons snap to seems to be incorrect.  Icons snap to odd places and areas around the margins of the screen are not usable.  Placing icons there causes them to jump to the top of the screen.  This is for icons outside any fence and happens on any computer I run Fences on.  Disabling Fences resolves the problem.

 

How can I fix the grid so my icons snap to the same grid they did before fences?
