Cannot activate Farcry2

As the title says, I am unable to activate my copy of Farcry2. I bought it a while ago when it was DRM free, no TAGES or Securom, and it installed without a hitch. However, I uninstalled to clear up space and now that I want to reinstall it I can't. I have checked my registration key dozens of times so I know I am putting it in correctly, but whenever I input it it says either it is incorrect or

Server Communication Error: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Then when I try the manual activation at  file:///C:/ProgramData/Tages/100664208/FarCry2%20-%20@ctiv.htm
it directs me to a blank page http://tpamaint.tages-protection.com/register/ul.htm and nothing happens.

Any help with would be much appreciated.
