what is "litestep" is it the same as windowblinds?

just took a look at some litestep skins and its the first Ive ever heard (or at least paid attention to) litestep.

is it the same as windowblinds? is it used with windowblinds or what?

No, not at all. Litestep is a Shell replacement. It basically takes over your whole Desktop/Startmenu/tasbar area and allows you to completly customize it to your tastes. Only problem is that it's very complicated and takes a while to learn how it works.

a good place to start with litestep is the lsd4p build.. static directory structure, so it's friendlier

yep, thats a good distro

Litestep is quite powerful, and a lot of fun. But it takes a little patience, and requires some work (ie: reading).

If you like tweaking your desktop, its a blast!

Topic "censored" to put it back onto the original topic which was a question by a user asking what the difference is between Litestep and WindowBlinds.
