Windows 7 skins

Since there is no Windows 7 template in SkinStudio, I was wondering if some of these items need to be skinned since I don't see them on my system.  I was wondering if someone could tell me definitively if Windows 7 displays the following items:

1.  Folders bar (in the Edit Explorer/IE shell parts).

2.  Taskbar Group Menu (in Edit Horizontal Taskbars).

3.  Resizing bar (in Edit Horizontal Taskbars).

4.  Rebar Gripper (in Edit Horizontal Taskbars).

If any of these parts DO show in Windows 7, could someone tell me how to make them show up on my computer.

Thanks in advance.

For 3 and 4 if taskbar is locked they will not show. (this is based on how XP works) For 4 if you do not have quick launch or any other toolbars on taskbar you will not see it.

I know that's how XP works -- but I'm on Win7, I don't have my taskbar locked, and I'm still not seeing 3 and 4, I DO have quick launch, and I'm still not seeing 4....that's why I'm wondering if Windows 7 doesn't use these items.

definitively no, well, 3 and 4 are not applicable to win7. I've ran some sample graphics for 1 and 2 and they never showed up anywhere, so...

I am running windows 7 pro and if you rightclick on the taskbar and choose toolbars and check one.   #3 and # 4  of these come into play see the image below

1. Folders bar - although the folders bar does not show up in windows 7, only Vista, I find you do have to skin it in the windows 7 sub section, because you set the colour for W 7 folders background in the "extra settings" setting under folders.

3. Resize bar does not show up in W 7, I skin all 3 OS, in XP I incorporate the top border of the taskbar in the resize bar, & in Vista & W 7 I include all the border in the taskbar background.

I hope this makes sense, it is after my bedtime!

2 and 3, you can def leave out. I would skin the gripper and quicklaunch buttons like the others suggested. And like CJ said, the folders bar needs to have some kind of graphic there in order to be able to set the navigation section background color.
