Hi dg community i always have interest in this game, today i see the offer is worth it? is there eneought player base? could i Play decently from South America?
Always loves Dota, huge tf2 player and a core steam user, always looking new experience and i think Demigood could deliver all i need is to know how many player are still playing mp.
For $5.00, yeah - I'd pull the trigger. I've played many games with folks with south america. You'll likely have some lag to some folks and be just fine with others. Alot also depends on your internet connection. We have a small player base, but its a somewhat dedicated one at this point.
Even if you just buy it and play the single player or play against AI with friends, it's worth $5.

Ehhh... I remember a dude from South Africa trying to play online and not having much success cause of lag issues. Maybe he lived in an area with a funky connection but don't get your hopes up on getting in on any online games.
Of course, maybe you could play with the Euros in a decently lag free game...

Ah... I remember him too - just thought you were equating pings in South Africa and South America. Anyway, woo.
A little less than 2 months and I'll be playing some dow2-retribution.
Pre-Ordering retribution tonight buddy buddy... since my faction/race is getting totally turned upside down, its kinda hard to motivate myself to play right now. I might try and learn another race in the meantime.

Its not like we're getting a new commander that we play with 1/4th of the time, or a tier 3 super unit that doesn't get used most games like the rest of the races... we're getting a tier 1.5-2.5? bread and butter unit that fulfills some gaping holes (hee hee, insert immature joke here) in our arsenal.
When Retribution is released, Chaos will have:
1) Long overdue Artillery. Yay! Glass cannons and cannon fodder are NOT the same thing, so don't you dare mention nade tics!
2) For better or worse, generator harassment... it will be nice because not everyone is in love with playing with a Plague Champ. He give me dah heebie jeebies!
3) Disable enemy ranged weapons and abilities?! Can't wait to ask an Eldar player where his Gods are now!
Love how they ended the sale a day earlier than the email said they would
because Chaos has a boring T1
