It would be very interesting to one day learn exactly what goes into staging and distributing a patch over Impulse, if there isn't an article on it already.  I suspect it's not as quick and simple as some would believe.

Curious- hundreds of servers?  I thought you had only 2 servers, both in the US?  I know some Euros have claimed you guys are pretty slow compared to GG, when I get the reverse effect in the US.

Today's update is even more solid.

There was a crash bug with the improvement list that got fixed (that's been the #1 crash bug during the betas) and there was a deadlock (game locks up) that got fixed today.

I love my job these days. My job is to crash the game. I'm so good at that. Feel free to tip.

They updated the betas so quickly I rarely had a chance to finish a game.  And I didn't get many crashes.  I'm pleased that Elemental 1.1 will go with me on my trip to Japan (it's a long plane ride).
