make janusk a bard always, more random factions...

This may belong in the 'mods' section, but im bypassing my works comp security to post on the stardock-->elemental forums and cant find the mods section.

1) I like Janusk, the bard hero in the campaign.  How can I make janusk always BE him?

2) I love random factions.  However, on the 'large' world setting there is always only one.  How can I increase the amount? Also, is there a way to mod them so they can do everything major ones do EXCEPT for building pioneers?

There most definitely is. Check out HeavenFall's mod ExpandedFactions which adds a bunch of content of this type. If you catch him on the IRC channel, he can give you a whole host of pointers on how to make factions do almost anything possible under the current conditions. Making factions which do not build pioneers is not impossible it just takes some work. I actually worked out a possible solution for HeavenFall a little while back but I am sure he has a much better method now.

Forget Janusk, just give him a different name different gender and different ablities each game.  Janusk sounds like athlete's foot medicine, or an investment bank for really rich people.
