How to patch?o_O

Yeah, might sound like a stupid question, but Impulse crashes everytime I start it, reinstalling it didn't work, too. Probably this stupid windows system is just too buggy :P

 

I tried to find patches in the WWW, but couldn't find any...do you have any idea for that?

Try removing Impulse completely with the following removal tool:

http://sd.stardock.com/curtHendzell/CleanImpulse.exe

Reboot your computer, and download the following file in Internet Explorer (other browsers don't handle the link correctly):

http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_impulse_installer.reg

save the file and run it.  Once you do this, install Impulse from the latest installer here:

http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe

If that's crashing on you, there's something big happening, as programs don't get much simpler than that one.  Contact support@stardock.com with what you've tried so far and we'll try to get you up and running.

I tried to execute impulse with linux, but just a link in the internet browser opened. Same here at my 2nd XP machine (but of cuorse this time it opens in Fx). The adress is:

https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/update.asp?p=retail

500 - Internal server error.

There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

Error message at that site, if I reload it I get redirected to:

https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/update.aspx
