[solved] Blinking orb

Hi,

when WindowBlinds is loaded, I can see blinking box behind Orb. Blinking has irregular interval (few seconds) between two blinks. Used theme doesn't matter, it happens even with original Aero theme when WindowBlinds is running.

Does anybody know how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance for your ideas.

Is your Windowblinds up to date? Please post your "About Windowblinds" info from the Windowblinds Configuration window.

It should be, Impulse has done update an hour ago. (WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 7.19 (build 292 - Windows 7 Edition) - 64 bit OS)

I am confused when you say it even happens with Aero when WB is running?

Assuming you applied Aero without any changes WindowBlinds is not doing anything.  Do you mean the WB UI was open?

Did you reboot after the update?

Dis the problem start after the update, or did it exist before that also? Also, does this change at all if you fiddle with the transparency settings?

Sorry, my mistake. Orb isn't blinking in Windows Classic and Windows Aero (chosen in WB) while WB is running. Blinking occurs only with some visual styles which are available after installation. I'm now switching between them and I'll let you which visual styles has blinking orb and which not.

It was already there when I was trying a trial version (Installed for 1 week). A month ago I bought a full version. I have two computers (primary is a desktop computer and the second one is my laptop) and I'm using WB on my desktop computer. I've already tried WB on my laptop and had the same problem.

Aha! Did you uninstall the trial version and if so, how? I suspect the problem lies there. Was the trial copy downloaded at Stardock.com or at another site?

I'm sure I did. I've tried all visual styles, some of them were blinking and some not. I think I found out what's the reason of blinking. I use Weather Clock by Respect Soft (skinable clock in tray). Blinking has stopped immediately after I closed this app. I never thought it could be compatibility issues with this app. Anyway, I really appreciate your effort to help me solve my problem. Thanks :)
