Wind direction on Sysmetrix

I've been trying to find the answer to this, and it should be simple, and I've looked on the Sysmetrix site, but I can't find it. What code do you use to convert wind direction from degrees to compass bearings? I know that 270 degrees, for instance, is from the west, but I'd rather see it in bearing direction.

Hoping this is possible.......

TIA,
Dabe

Thanks for the reply, pinchecl. I think I've seen the wind direction in other programs (DirectX?), so it should be possible. I will make the suggestion. Funny though...... I"m a landscape architect by profession, and I do a lot of GIS work (computerized mapping), so reading maps and surveys is not a problem for me. But, I'd still rather see the ol' familiar wind bearings (i.e. blowing from the NE) than degrees on my desktop.

Know what you mean. I myself do calculate the proximate direction. The codes must be easy to translate to the usual bearings so maybe the author will do thast in the next update/dev.edition
