Desire to create a mod team.

Hi  fellow-Elementalists.

Though I  assume  that  most  of  the mods  will follow  standard fantasy (and  possibly  sci-fi), avenues,  like LOTR-lie  and  elves, dwarves,  etc.  I  would  like  to  do  something  hopefully different.  My  background  is creating the  fantasy art (http://lgaskins.homestead.com/) and metal/progressive  album  covers.  I have  also  worked on a few  games and done  a lot of  2D  Disney-like  cel  animation.  BUT, I  am  a moron  when it  comes  to programming, code  and  assorted  smart-stuff. lol

I would  like  to  incorporate  characters and worlds  from such literature  as Wizard of  Oz  and Alice in Wonderland  into  an Elemental  mod. This  could also  include Victorian illustration, works  from  other  authors  (perhaps  more fairy  tales  or Piers  Anthony's  Xanth  series? I  still  want  to  make  it  war-/magic-based  and  definitely  include  some  gore. I would  like this  to be  a framework  to  build  upon, to  make  a unique  and rich mod. I am aiming  for  a strong palette  of  colors (not  too  grungy), but  really make  this  a project that people  will enjoy  as  well as open their  eyes. I want  that  wow  factor!  I also believe  adding  humor into  the  mod  is  a  must!

A few things  before I  end  this  idea:

As  an  ex-game  designer (who  has  worked on a few large  and  small  releases),   I understand  the  work involved, and I  have  always  finished  my requirements of  a project  to  release.

I want  this project  to  be  FUN to  do.

I  work  well  with others  who  are open-minded  and  don't  have  massive  egos.

I  love  to  think OUTSIDE  the  box. 

Open-minded to  ideas  and thoughts  within  this  rough  framework.

Quality over quantity.  Complexity while  still adhering  to  K.I.S.S. motto.
