Where do I put new artworks/icons?

I can't seem to find any tutorials on where to put artwork after I download it. I think I made a mess of the folder inside of My Documents. Could some one help a little? Thanks

Well, it depends on what you downloaded.

Objects Dock icons, backgrounds, etc. need to be put in the Object Dock directory in their respective folders (tiles, zoomers, tabs, etc.).

Windowblind skins install themselves.

Logons install on double click, once installed, you can delete them, unless you want to archive them, in which case you decide where you want them.

So on and so forth.

More specific info from me would require more specific info from you.

Icons doesn't matter where you put them. OD puts several folders all over the place and it's really difficult to keep track of them. Just save them somewhere you'll remember and then just browse to that location when you choose an icon.

Backgrounds however should go in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus2\Backgrounds\(appropriate folder) location.

I've created a master folder that includes subfolders for every type of download; that is Docks, Icons, Wallpapers, IconPackager, WindowBlinds skins, DesktopX and on and on. I call mine Stardock Downloads, but you could call it Skinning, WinCustomize, whatever. If you're going to download a lot of things like a lot of people do, it will make it easier to find things. Also, you might want to create a folder for screenshots of all the skins you download; otherwise, without a screenshot to refer to, the day will come when you don't know what CP38 looks like anymore. I have around 4,000 screenshots, and I can look through them to see what I have, or what might go with what. It's like having a master list of your files, but better, because you can see what everything looks like.

It's OBject Docks, but Iwas trying to skin the tabbed side bar. I can't see anywhere where the sidebar is letting me browse for a location though.

Minus the (x86) if you have 32 bit only.
