What OS are you using it on, on XP the text when in folder view is a orange/red color, if for the Vista the same text color setting is used it is set to the same color. try reappling the skin, sometimes they just need a little kick, if you still have same problem post a screenshot so we can see exact text issue.

I'm using Vista & I've tried reapplying it but no changeX( , here's a view of the problem, the text of the actual folder is white so it's not viewable.

I am on XP which does not have this issue, I think it seems that some of the colors are used differently in Vista than XP. Hopefully someone on Vista will be able to help. Looking in SkinStudio at the colors used the only dead white is the window background, I am not sure based on the other colors used where it is calling the white text from. I have even applied the Vista version on XP and with all explorer views I am getting proper text colors and highlight. The grey highlight in your pic is orange on XP. Maybe a corrupt skin download, change skins, delete Tiki, redownload and try it, if still have the same issue you will need to wait for someone with Vista skinning experience to help.

Hi Sonic,

To change the font color the easiest way, just click on "Colours" in WB 7 and then on "Change Windows System Colors."  Look for fonts that are white text.  My "guess" is that it will be window text which is at the bottom of the list.

If you cannot get it changed using Windowblinds, you may need to edit the skin in Skin Studio.  If I can find Tiki I will install it here and see if the problem occurs in Windows 7.  Usually there are not many differences between Vista and Windows 7.

If that doesnt work, try changing the text color in Explorer backgrounds in SKS for the glass backgrounds.

Hello Again, Sonic.

I just installed Tiki and it works fine for me.  The text is a lighter color though  - sort of a rust color.  You should be able to change it using WB.  I changed it to red which is much easier to see.  It's a very cool skin!  XD

Hey Cameochi:grin:

Woohoo thanks for the free education I've fixed it now.

Yeah it is a cool skin so I knew there had to be something I could do or it would be unuseable.

Cheers peeps:thumbsup:
