So where is ObjectDock 2 Stardock

Paid and nothing

Well i am a little confused i applied to have my ObjectDock Plus 1.9 upgraded to the new 2 version and in the process of filling out all the required online paperwork one read that you would not be billed until the new version had come through.  Guess what i was billed on my card as soon as i processed the order.  So if that is the case then Stardock has actually breached what it claimed they would do, or is the upgrade there and i just cant get it.  I am one that believes if you pay for something you should get it or you dont pay until you do so for Stardock to debit my card straight away then Stardock should provide me with my paid for software.....WHERE IS IT THEN....Has anyone else had this issue.

Thankyou

I pre-ordered the upgrade from ObjectDock Plus to 2.0 as you did on Feb 11.  I still have not been charged for it yet.  Not sure it makes a difference but I used a Debit Card.  What you should do is email sales@stardock.com and get an answer as to what's up.  :sun:

If you use a credit card to order something there is a 'hold' put on that amount ... so you are kept aware of its imminent deduction....that is how 'credit' cards work.

The funds are not actually transferred to anyone....not until the sale is completed....;)

Thanks for the info, i thought it was already charged but it must just show authorisation.

Thankyou

Any ETA on a release even for the beta? IIRC the card I gave you to buy the upgrade with in Feb, expires at the end of this month.

Yeah, it's getting annoying now.  I don't like how with Stardock you have absolutely no idea when you get charged, because the release date is never on time.  If you don't know when the release date is, either charge on the spot so people have some certainty, or don't announce it and ask for orders.

I had to cancel the order because of this and reorder...sales @stardock.com was pretty quick about canceling.

Just recieved my invoice, fired up Impulse, and Object Dock Plus 2 (well 1.97) is there.

So far, it works.

I'm not seeing the upgrade in Impulse - and I have Pre Release checked?

Apologies - found it! :D

Wow, thanks for the fast response. Hate to ask but living on $650 disability things are a bit tight but I wanna stay loyal. Are there any codes out I missed in my monthly emails to save a tiny bit more before I order? If not I understand but you can't blame me for asking, the way things are these days :)

It's not even 10 bucks to upgrade.  If things are tight, I'd wait a bit.  2.0 is as buggy as the Congo right now.

Oh, I was getting this as well as nabbing another year on my Object Desktop sub while it was on sale. I just figured would ask before I hit the buy button if there might of been any coupons in the last cpl newsletters to save any more. Sometimes, but not all the time, the ISP's spam filter ends up snagging the Wincustomize and stardock news letters and seperating them to a different "quarentine folder" &  I have to go search even though I've marked both senders as released and recognized as allowed. Think its some code my ISP is using that sees something in the letters that freaks it. If someone had said that there was one then I'd of started searching my email archives to find it hehe.
