Implementing own music ?

It would be nice if we had the paths to the music files (war , peace etc) so we can specify our own in game. A panel where you can replace the songs one by one or replace all .

I'm playing in the background with soundtrack of the battlestar galactica but the music isn't synchronized with the game .(war ,peace - random music )

We could replace the ogg files but that means converting to ogg from the file format we have , and after replacing them we will  have no way to switch back to the original music unless we have a backup .

Are there any solutions until now to do this ? i searched briefly the sections on forum didn't found nothing related to this

Well it still resides in copying / converting/ renaming files . So nothing is developed in this direction yet i guess

No, what you do is you create your own .OGG files with the same names as the Sins originals, then you place them in a Sound folder, then place that Sound folder in its own mod folder in your mod directory.  As long as you don't change anything in the GameInfo or Mesh folders, the mod will be a 0 checksum mod and will allow you to play online with people who don't have the mod.
