Maybe for the team, but not for just you. Mist is the best survivability move in the game. Yeah, you can shield a FB, but then you use your shield. You can mist every other Fireball. Not interrupt, mist. It still causes the cooldown AND uses the mana.

Its a fantastic response to...almost anything. You shouldn't get sniped, as you can mist off tracking bug. Ground Spikes, Pent, Slows, tracking bugs, spit.

It will never be out-shined in my eyes.

You can't be suicidal with Mist, the point is the difference it makes in a tight fight. You can always count on the shield. Always. It will hit whoever is about to die.

Mist can happen a LOT in the fight. I'd prefer to have Mist over shield, any day.

This is just my openion, I just find it much more useful. Not OP (but I think its gay to perma mist), just extremely useful.

On that note, I think this is going way off topic, lmao.

I learned that I need to work a little on what I carry.

I always try to have a gadget on me. At all times. I also always buy the wand of speed which only gives me one free slot. I usually have TPs, as they rock.

I don't use Sigils as I don't like having a sigil and UG. Yeah, it can save my ass a LOT easier, but I can't save someone else with it.

So I gotta pick between locks and ports and I ALWAYS seem to need the opposite about 20 seconds after I leave the crystal.

Being able to save people's asses means a lot. Its just such a versitile item. I've saved towers from the gay minion builds.

One huge disadvantage I see is that its near impossible to target yourself when someone is on top of your with the UG. I always end up targeting someone else and it gets me killed. It happens all the time in my replays.

I mostly carry locks

Gadgets are overlooked. People don't randomly interrupt you healing your allies, the cast is too quick for them to figure out what you're doing. It also looks like you're teleing out and leaving your ally there, which can be beneficial to you. I agree, sigils aren't that good on TB because he doesn't have great health.

Something else I just remembered I have an issue with:

I suck balls if I get frustrated at something stupid. Like 3 BS things in a row like not being able to cast UG on myself and die for it. (That thing is the BIGGEST FUCKIN' BITCH to target someone in a group. I spose anything that can target ANYTHING will be a bitch.)

I prefer to play this map at a 90 degree angle, ie looking at it so the citadels are on the left and right.  A quick zoom out gives me map awareness and zoom in for melee.

THe one thing i need to work on is how to time that lag better.  Since lag is different everygame this is a challenge lol.

I need to play more minion builds to refamiliarize myself with that style of play.  I just hate playing minion builds because the playstyle is so damn douchy.  Hug a tower, send minions in, grab an non-contested flag, plant a ward, hug a tower blah blah blah.
