Seriusly the amount of posts u guys lock and delete without informing creator, not giving reason at all why you do that is quite disturbing. Many people would at least want to know what they did wrong to avoid doing it in future posts (obviusly said somethin that frogboy dosnt like). Modern day censorship in very bad edition.

Isatari posted: "The Demigod forum is not an official support venue." I dont see any other link to forum/support on OFFICIAL demigod website. More then that on GPG support site for demigod it says: "Stardock is your primary source for Demigod technical information. The technical support forum can be found here [link to this forum]".

More then that GPG forum has anoucment saying: " we are requesting that everyone start migrating to the official demigod forum

More then that Atari website and forum dosnt even mention demigod at all. No sites/links at all

More then that cover of the box has address to this website (bet you manual does too i just cant find it)

Everywhere i turn i hear this is an official demigod forum. So i do belive owning a copy of this game gives you right to post questions, topics u want to discuss, issues that you come upon, things that you want to see fixed.

IF I AM WRONG please post any link to offical support forum/website, and remove link to this forum or name it FunsForum

I am right :

-Can you be more civilized with ur locking/deleting posts policy. Write a reson why u perform given action (even if it will be "frogboy didnt like ur post se we deleted it")

-Can you start banning 'real' comunity damagers = people who exploit/hack this game. Over 10% of hosted games will exploited/hack if host will loose. 75% of 1v1 games are hosted by people who hack/exploit the game. Forum and hall of shame are filled with requests to investigate/ban (with screenshots, replays, video footage).

-If you too 'busy' to ban people maybe u can create some power accounts so selected players can give 3 or 7 days bans to people who are suspect beyond dubt that they exploit/hack games. This will provide solution til you find time to deal with them.

-Inform users who get posting priviliges removed, posts deleted/locked why exacly they did wrong so in future they can avoid making same mistake twice. coz replays like 'Go away' (made by frogboy when he banned me) dosnt really point/mean anything

Last thing. Guys stop complaing that comunity is soo bad, rude, intolerant, toxic. Well first of all u get what you give so start looking what u giving us:

-right now this game has no issues whatsoever (all isuses that you are expieriencing are caused by ur old computer, poor net connection or other users)

-this no forum that provide technical support (if this one is not it there is nothing else)

-the game have no issues, all characters and items are well balanced so no more patches is required (it wasnt required in first place)

-if u post something u dont like we will ban you (we got shit load of scouts who tell us about every new post to be banned)

-if u dont like it leave it

-we will forget about this game when we start working on Elemental (frogboy himself many times admited he prefers to make new money making product then support something that wont likely bring any more profit)

Please spend fev minutes anserwing those questions:

-will send post makers a message which explains why their posts are being locked/deleted

-will you start banning exploiters/hackers with weekly or pernament bans

-will you consider creating powerusers accounts so they can temporary ban hackers/exploiters until stardock/gpg employe will investigate the case futher.

Well if you love demigod so much why are you yelling to for new patches over and over again? I mean perfect games cannot be improved right? I put reference to LoL only because it is same game but with diffrent graphic engine and so much superior network code, not to mention other features which we are lackiing in this game. Main reason i made this post is to ask for 2 things: -will send post makers a message which explains why their posts are being locked/deleted -will you start banning exploiters/hackers with weekly or pernament bans Dont you agree we need those?

First off, when have I been yelling for patches? The problem with you is because it's the same type of game as LOL; just about every single thing has to be similar.

Well, irek, since you don't understand how a private forum can be open to the public, I'll put my version of an explination up:

 

Private: This means that item X (in this case SD forum) is owned and operated by a private entity. It is their product and they are allowed to make the rules as they see fit. In so much as they make the rules, they can give or take away access from whomever they wish, at any time. 

 

Public: This means that item X is required BY LAW to open its proverbial doors to anyone and everyone, and as long as you obey the rules governing society in whole, you have unlimited access regardless of who you are.

 

Public but Privately Owned: This means that item X, while being privately controlled and owned (not required to open doors to anyone and everyone) chooses to make their product public. Despite the fact that anyone and everyone is allowed to take part, the private company can pull any access at any time on any scale of their choosing. Demigod forum falls here.

 

Now, as synn pointed out, neither of you have perfect grammar (I'm sure I don't either), but it is beneficial to use both complete sentences and real words. For me, and others like me, having to wade through sentences full of "ur" and "u" and lack of basic grammatical rules (punctuation, not all lower case, etc) makes us not want to read your posts, regardless of if you have a good point or not.

Close this thread. In fact delete all my posts It seems comunity like t get f.d in the a.. so i just leave them too it. It just hope some of you can see how support/forum works in other games to give you taste how this one should be working
