So, anyway...

I was playing an awsome game.

(Hey... elrosh... you would not happen to have the autorecord?)

it was a 4v4...

and...

I was vasari.

it was a preety good stalemate for... a while... the game went on for 4 hours...

and... it was such an awsome game... featuring novaliths, big red button starbases...

(hey elrosh... was that a lv 1 or lv 2 big red button)

... AMAZING subverter usage... volitile nanites...

(holly shit... i killed SO MANY FLEETS... while losing only a pathetic amount of ships.)

many high level capital ships.

and (it wont be on the replay if elrosh has the replay) using a maurader to jump a 1000 point fleet accross the galaxy.

Like i said... it was a 4v4 for a while...

and then a firealarm went off in my building...

and... i had to go afk... they played on without me... and when i got back... one of my team mates lagged out, and the others prompty quit. so it was 4v1.

I then was so sad that the game was lost... I proceeded to rape one persons fleet.... and then a second persons fleet.... and then a third persons fleet... and then i raped guy number 1's fleet... and then I traveled though to the other side of the galaxy... and... got in a giant stalemant with elrosh... which went on for a good hour... he has a starbase... if he tried to attack me... i would subvert him and keep his fleet down... untill he would use his akkan and retreat his fleet back to his starbase...

this went on for a while... untill I was starting to get the upper hand... he started moving his fleet away from his starbase... and i was like OH SHIT... and started doing the same.

his starbase kills... most of my fleet... but without his starbase to retreat to... and me building one in his grav well... it was over... and I had won... 4 vs 1... (although by the end of the game... 1 quit, another went perma afk... and hehehe... slackachiken was fighting my ai allies continuously (and... hehe... the ai was winning...)

SO.... this is the second time i have had a redicuously epic game... where I wanted to show you all the strenghts of vasari... and... this is the second time where when i go to the menue and hit record game... it minidumps.

It, for some reason... saved a file... a large replay file... but when i load it up... no one does anything for 4 hours...

what causes this bug? anyone else had this bug? is the replay recoverable? should i post the minidump? and elrosh? please tell me you have the replay.

Yeah, I've had a couple awesome games that minidumped like that instead of saving the replay.  It's a shame, but I'm not aware of any recovery method (maybe someone else knows something?)

If you get a crash that yields a minidump and you were not using mods, you should send it in to support@ironcladgames.com. Only they can analyze it to tell what caused it and/or find a solution.

ok, I sent the minidump straight to them.

I was not using mods (it was multiplayer)/

I really hope they can find a solution so i stop losing awsome games.

I so wanted to post it on the forums... so that you all can stop talking about how sucky the vasari are.

Does anyone think it was kinda assholish of me to stick around even though it was 4v1? I mean... i had a giant fleet of 1337 hax... but... you know?

No, good for you. I hate it when people leave when the game isn't over. If you can stay and fight even if you are outnumbered playerwise, you still have a chance. especially in long games when you already have biult up a fleet
