search icons missing from startmenu search window

has this happened to anyone else? i started a new skin a few days ago and noticed my search icons where missing from the startmenu search window even before i started to skin it.  here is the wb info. is this a new bug?

i created a new skin this morning for an experiment, and the icon is there, so it must have been a glitch,  but very weird!!

hmm okay, the problem is still there. this is what i did:

I created a new skin and then applied all the parts to it, redid the font, and margins ect. but as soon as i applied the skin, the search icons are missing again in the startmenu search window. they are showing in the explorer window but.

Neil...why do you think this is happening?...this is a real little bugger...

when i apply other skins, the icons are there, this is so bizare, its almost like they dont want to work for this pc...

ps: my bottom bar is only 31 high, so i know thats not the reason..

experiment #2> just created a new skin, and checked to see if the search icon was present in the searchbar window in the startmenu. yes it was. I applied my new userpane and applied it. the search icon had dissapeared.....:'(

 

experiment #3 created a new skin, added a userpane from another skin and applied, the icon is there.........so it could be a

corruption from me somewhere............. bummers.....

I'm sorry hun...I got the impression it was resolved after reading your second post...My girl told me not to come in the forums while drinking...my bad...I wish I could shed some light into your problem???

k, seems im back to square one, after installing and updating a new version of my art program serif photoplus, i STILL have no magnifying glass (search icon) on my search window in my startmenu.

any help would be appreciated at this time....otherwise i cannot skin or submit skins.....
