you guys are funny.

I posted the same issue over in windowblinds cause well, it was a wb problem, but no. Hankers said I needed to post this over here and Rosco_P says to pass it on to the support group. I'm thinking it might not be a individual/isolated problem but something with a recent update. I saying all this in totally good humor. I'm just trying to helpful and since it is not a critical error, happens only on shut down for me, I could care less. but you all might want to kick this upstairs to at least have a look see??? I don't think I'd waste my time initiating a trouble ticket for this, not something I could correct (IMHO).

appcrash

By gmc2 Posted November 30, 2009 6:06:50 PM

since my last impulse update wb7 has had a couple of application crashes.

don't know if the details matter,but...

Problem signature:

Problem Event Name: APPCRASH

Application Name: SevenConfig.exe

as I mentioned it has just start happening recently. I visited the impulse site to turn off my automatic updates, which of course updated before I could turn it off and since then...

If this is happening on shutdown then you must have the WB config window open at shutdown as thats all sevenconfig does.

There is a difference in the Stardock WinCustomize 'support' forum and forwarding your issue in an email to support@stardock.com. When you post something in the WinCustomize forums you are most likely to receive the majority of help from members just like you and unless the posting is in the 'Support' section of the forums then it is unlikely to be seen by Stardock support.

I suggested you make your post in the Support section of the forums as Stardock support do monitor that section. When Rosco_P requested you contact support@stardock.com was for you to initiate a trouble ticket so that support could work with you individually on your issue.

No one is trying to be funny in these suggestions as our intent is only that you get your issue resolved.

I don't see any WB configuration window, or at least anything identified as such? however the only WB window open is the opening window, the one that shows downloaded skins.

EDIT: that is the window you're mentioning I believe. So, I need to close the opening window in order to shut down the program? END:

my point here is that I don't necessarily believe this to be my issue. and being that the crash is not fatal or critical, I figured passing along the info should be sufficient.

Thanks for this report.  I have high hopes we have located the issue and the next WB build will resolve this.  Look for a beta this week.
