On another forum a fella has installed win 7 on a what was a vista laptop with 8800gt graph card, taking wb out of the equation yours is a very similar issue, uninstalling the graph driver may prove useful as he did that & it ran fine, well keep it in mind anyway just in case]

Due to an installation bug, you need to install MyColors before installing WindowBlinds on Windows 7.

best to reinstall neil

i stop the graphic card service still doing the same thing?

any help?

it was doing this before my colours install but thx for the advice

when I uninstalled  the graphic driver from my comp it stoped the problem so there must be a bug at stardock ot nvidia end?

The problem is with Win-7 taskbar thumbnails preview. I disabled this option by simple tweaks:

1. Create empty text file.

2. Copy and paste this code:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
"ExtendedUIHoverTime"=dword:00004e20

3. Save file like tweak.reg. Then run it.

That's all. You will not see taskbar thumbnails because the new hover time = 20 sec. But your WB began to work more stable. :)

At this point, I'd send an email to support@stardock.com to open up a ticket.  They may be able to help you out a little better than here.

you guys are funny.

I posted the same issue over in windowblinds cause well, it was a wb problem, but no. Hankers said I needed to post this over here and Rosco_P says to pass it on to the support group. I'm thinking it might not be a individual/isolated problem but something with a recent update. I saying all this in totally good humor. I'm just trying to helpful and since it is not a critical error, happens only on shut down for me, I could care less. but you all might want to kick this upstairs to at least have a look see??? I don't think I'd waste my time initiating a trouble ticket for this, not something I could correct (IMHO).
