Warning - Very Sensitive and Poor Player

Beware of this player, just finished a panth with him... and couldn't take a you suck comment and just went idle instead of leaving.... says hes 39 years old and I told him not to ever have children....

He was the bottom feeder of the team, and although only died 5 times, we were told at his 2nd death it wouldn't happen... mind you a few deaths were fair... some were awful.... He also didn't understand after 20 times of me telling him get giants at lvl 10 safe up for them... and he said at lvl 9 he was going to get them... I said no... he said he needed health when at 100% to cover his mistake...

 

The game was going very good 3 UBs... vs Sedna, Rook, Reg... overall they were leading by about 200-500 most the game... If our player stuck it in we could of probably kept it around that, but then he went afk...

So this is my warning.... either be very sensitive to this player... or dont play with him.


Also if you want share same experiences...

My thoughts on being called shitty or sucky... is that... if your the bottom feeder on the team... accept some of the blame... and instead of being a baby... and rage quitting try to play better and earn a congradulations.... guess some players rather go into the corner....

(Sry for this rant... had a 5 win streak going on panth and this guy definately ruined it 100% for it... had a small chance before he went into baby mode.)

Let me also add... its not like all game we bugged him... it got close to the end and the other team was really pulling it together and this guys mistakes were adding up... so you know when you get tense and just kinda blow up a wee bit... we kinda did that... it was more like you suck man, get it together.... but then he decided to just go afk then just sat at base.

So its not like a constant harassing of the player and multiple times calling him a shit player or insulting him 100%... it was just you know when someone fights a battle they cant win... and they duke it out instead of running or just using abilities and backing off and such... well he'd fight battles he couldn't win far to much...

well since this player has about 10 times more games than you... he was probably just having a bad day? It happens you know? He probably felt way worse about his performance than you were annoyed by it.

Well stats have been reset, I took a break from demi god and just started playing again.... and ya pacov I told him not to have children... if he were to instill that belief into his children theyd be failures... learn to take critism and grow from it... shut down and you'll fail in life.

Meh its ok lol, this was mostly a vent....

I was more choked with the fact he stayed in the game just to try and fuck us over even more.... rather then just leave.... like he took the insult to heart and purposively just idled at base to totally screw us over.... it was practically over by then... but at the same time it was just that extra annoyance over just rage quitting that ticked me off....

Of course as he did that he had to go on the rant of I suck, you guys should be able to do it on your own etc etc blah blah comments.

Though I doubt that Stardock will ban him from the game for this. Hopefully he'll at least be moved to the visitor group of the forum.

it was damn tied. btw i think i have to talk to fil (or how was his nick^^). he played very nice but had a very BAD build order and itemization. he was our sedna player. i still wonder how he could do so well with that. anyway, it's rare to have such balanced teams.

Telling someone 'you suck' is probably not the best way to improve their game play.  If someone did that to me repeatedly, i'd probably just leave.

The problem here isn't that he didn't like being insulted but that you thought that was a valid way to help him improve his play. If you can't give constructive advice, just suck it up and move on rather than being a jackass.
