Cursor FX

I downloaded the free CursorFX then downloaded R-Grille Purple, after that cursor fx froze.  I have had cursorfx for awhile now with no problems at all.I can't even delete R-Grille Purple from cursor fx i have to delete it from  add and remove and downloaded it again with the same problem. This is what they wrote back to me.If the program is working fine before you install the R-Grille Purple cursors, then the problem is not with CursorFX. Stardock does not support skins, themes, docklets, icons, widgets, objects, etc that are created by third-parties. Please contact the author of the item you are having problems with for help and support.

Using  some old,as in pre 2005  from the WC gallery, cursors  will also do this. The only repair I have found that works for me is to uninstall CFX with Revo uninstaller  set to moderate. Delete anything it finds in the scan marked in bold letters.Back up any cursors you wish to keep first, just to be safe. Reboot then reinstall CFX. Using the CFX uninstaller alone or Impulse will leave too much behind to allow a clean install.

I had some issues early on with CFX and it required multiple(as in 12)o_O   reinstalls so I am  nearly 100% sure this will work for you.

Edit: I should add that the latest version of CFX has been trouble free since install  IF I avoid using older cursors.:)

Are you cerain you removed everything it marked in bold? Some entries have to have the tree view expanded to see them.Did you reboot after uninstalling? Are you trying just the included cursors before adding any?

I just started having the same problem with those same cursors. AND whatever cursor I want to delete, most of the time it won't delete. How do I delete those problem cursors (old and new!).

How are you deleting them,MG?  Have you tried deleting them from Public Documents/Stardock instead of the control panel?
