A godzilla Mod

I am thinking of making a godzilla mod. It will have 2 new factions, the Earth Defence Force and the Xilians. The Xilians will be led by that psycho Keizer. I haven't decided whop hould lead the EDF yet, though I'm leaning toward Captain Gordan. There will also be a new weapon tech tree for the EDF, Masers. For those who don't kno, masersw are like electro guns. To counter, shields will be changed to counter lasers and masers. There will obviously be new ship designs, and there will be new ethical decisions to reflect the new setting. If you have any ideas, I would like to hear them. I would also appreciate your opinions.

Great Idea; I love it, but you need WAY more factions.

Here's some ideas:

* A Xilian rebel group.

* An evil EDF from an alternate universe.

* A civ lead by Godzilla himself (but you were probobly thinking of this anywaysO:) ).

(In fact, the easiest way to bump up your number of civs is to give each monster its own civ, so that works too).

Thanks for the site Foxthree. I will definitely need it, since this is my first attempt at a mod, and I may be in over my head. Right now I am only doing research for possible techs and Ethical Events/Random Events. Mostly because I don't hav ToA and I don't know how to do separate tech trees on DA. So any help would be appreciated. Like where I can find the game files. I have Windows XP.

since you only have DA than DON'T MESS WITH THE ETHICS STUFF i mean it if you change one thing your techtree wion't work I learned that the hard way.Its hardcoded but with TA its quite possible so if thats the rought your going than get TA hope this helps you some.

It helps. I was planning on getting ToA before I made this mod because it would make my lif sooo much easier.

Actually, A faction led by godzilla is a bit tacky and hard to explain why they have space travel. So how about 2 religious cults. 1 that worships godzilla annd 1 that worsips the revived mothra...

If someone wants to do some math or me, then thanks. If an Oxygen Destroyer the size of a baseball can destroy tokyo bay(or tokyo city), then how big would it need to be to kill a planet
