Hey everyone!

Been missin' ya all

Hi guys! I'm trying to get back in the swing of things here. I'm still depressed, my mortgage company called and offered me a modification If I qualify, and I've been busy doing a bunch of cancer tests to make sure the Lymphoma hasn't transformed into a different, more agressive kind of cancer. Friday is supposed to be a throat biopsy. But I'm still getting over pneumonia and have a cough, so I may have to postpone that one. I had a heck of a time not coughing during the MRI yesterday.

I still cry most days over my mother, but I guess time will help there...........

So, whatcha all been up to?   :karma:

Wish things get better for you soon, surely time's gonna help and remember there's always a new bright sunny day after a stormy night. So just hope for the best and it will all be back to normal soon !!

Well, I have just been creating some Dreams since the past few days, nothing much to tell but really having a bad time at my office as usual without any business in hand.

Be strong, stay positive and always, always smile and laugh as much as possible.  It's a big part of what got me through my cancer.  Along with everyone, I'm happy you're back.

XXXOOO from all of us!   :sun:

I've been working so I can pay off my lawyer, so I can finish my bankruptcy and leave this state with double digit unemployment rates and move to the middle of the country where my family has access to resources and we can down-size our standard of living so we don't drown.  I'm sort of looking forward to experiencing Zen -- the less-is-more, at this point in my life.  I'll tell you something...as far as I'm concerned, "the American dream" is just too much responsibility.  There comes a point when "what I own" starts owning me, and I'm ready to be liberated from it.

Talk with your mortgage company.  My guess is they'll be very willing to find a forbearance number you can live with -- if that's where you want to live.  Be aware of all the small print -- are they going to simply be making your monthly payment less, but tacking the interest on to the end of the mortgage, or are they actually going to decrease your interest?  Is the "help" they say they're going to provide, permanent, for the length of the loan, or only temporary?  Will the payments be automatically withdrawn from your bank account (which if you happen to have a unfortunate month where expenses overwhelm income, would it result in an overdraw fee onto your bank account?) or will you be able to send in your payments like always?  Be very informed, and don't jump at whatever they offer you simply because it seems like the only solution to your problem.

I'll be thinking about your Friday, hoping your biopsy is benign.  <3

I know you understand the stress of cancer better than most, and the endless testing! So tireing, and some of those tests are really torture! I've developed a cough, and since the biopsy is a needle biopsy of my throat, I had to postpone it. Good timing, huh? :D   Thanks for the sweet welcome back!

I hear that! We're going to do a big garage sale and get rid of a lot of stuff.  The modification is one of the new ones Obama put in, and it's supposed to lower the payment to 31% of our income. Hope we get it. I'm not up to moving right now......hope everything goes good for you too, Karen!

Whatever you do mg...take Ed's advice...remain positive. Karen's also right...don't let possessions possess you.

Karen's also right about family...they help...hope you have some remaining, but I seem to remember you saying it was only you and your mom.

I hope and pray for your news to be good ... you deserve!

What a memory, Doc! Yes, it was just her and I....I'm alone now, family-wise, except for an uncle who's 90-something and senile. I doubt he'd know who I was.

IROKONESS, right back at you! Thanks! :inlove:
