Fences & Vista 64bit problems with explorer

Has any-one else had a problem or got a solution to explorer closing when adding a shortcut to the desktop (when installing software) when Fences is running or Explorer cant run when fences is running so fences comes up with a message saying there is a problem so it is closing.

I have the same problem as the original poster with windows explorer crashing.  I am running 64bit Windows Vista Ultimate & 8GB RAM.  This seems like a great program and hopefully its only a glitch that can be resolved.

The one time I did notice a problem was when I double clicked to hide the icons.  But I couldn't reproduce it everytime.

I am having a problem with Windows Explorer crashing in Windows 7 RC Ultimate 64-bit (version 6.1.7100). I LOVE Fences and it worked great on my Vista 32-bit system. But I am having constant problems with Windows Explorer falling over in Win7RC/Ult 64. The only thing I can surmise (so far) is that Fences overlays (or something) on the desktop and affects Windows Explorer in some way. So, I have uninstalled Fences to see if my machine will stabilize.

I haven't been able to determine one particular kind of event that crashes WinExpl. Sometimes it gets into a crashing loop and nothing can be done.

My system: Dell Dimension e521, AMD dual core processor, 4GB RAM, plenty of storage. Am also using ObjectDock but haven't uninstalled it yet. I'll try one thing at time to get the system stabilized.
