Serial # /registration problem

Hello, I don't really know what to do anymore... I have been looking at the forums for about an hour or two and i have not found anything thats helped me... I bought the game in a box back when it first came out... I registered it back then and I updated it the old fasion download and apply way....(that was before i knew impulse existed). I have impulse now and I love how easy it makes updating games... but i can't register SoaSE into impulse it keeps telling me that my serial # is wrong ref: 204.... ive seen alot of ppl with that problem... now being stupid i just a ew minutes ago bought the microexpansion Entrenchment and hoped that maybe it would update the game for me somehow... it didnt and now i cant install entrenchment because the original is not registered.....can someone help me?

I would email support@stardock.com

They'll be the best people to help you with that problem. They usually respond pretty quick (they got to me in 24 hours), and seem very reasonable. At the very worst, you may have to "prove" you have the box. If you they ask, I'm sure taking a picture of the serial number would more than suffice.

If you already registered it before on the website here, then you need to log in on Impulse using that same account, rather than registering it again. If you bought Entrenchment with a different email address (they both need to be on the same one), support can merge them together for you.

That is the part i do not understand exactly to my knowledge it is the same account although back then it was just a stardock account not an impulse account.

got the same problem, allready sent an e-mail to supoort please help as fast as you can

and yes i logged in with my original impulse and used same e-mail
