I just purchased the sins of a solar empire 'bundle' but only the Entrenchment expansion shows up under 'my games' in impulse.
Attempts to register the base game result in a generic error "The serial number youi have entered is not recognized by Impulse". Is the registration for this new bundle 'product' not working?
I've cleared up what appeared to be the issue in your account; please restart Impulse and check again. Let us know whether it is working now.
The same thing happened to me. I bought the Sins of a Solar Empire and I cannot install the game because only its expansion is showing up in Impulse to install. I contacted e-mail support but I have had no answer yet from them. I am starting to think I got ripped off.

Try closing Impulse and running the following file:
http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg
Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it. Then relaunch Impulse. You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will work) and password.
I'm having the same exact issue, and I opened 2 support tickets. I also found and tried the fix above and it didn't work.

I am also having this problem. I got the bundle this weekend, yet hasn't shown up in MyGames yet. I got the email with the serial number and directions on how to get the game onto Impulse, but that hasn't worked. The registry key didn't seem to do anything but erase my login information in Impluse (which I was able to re-enter.)
I have the same problem - bought the bundle this weekend and can't get the base game installed due to bad serial. Running that registration key does absolutely nothing - just resets my Impulse login data. Still rejects my serial.
Restart Impulse and check your My Games tab again now. Let me know if it still hasn't shown up. 
This happened to me as well but in a different way. Bought the bundle and it shows me that i have entrenchment but not the original game. I got two registrations but there's no place to even register or download the original game.
EDIT: I tried what you told the guy up there to do, with going through IE and running the file. Didn't change anything after I relogged in.
EDIT 2: Arg, tried that link twice to be sure, getting really upset. Also wondering if I got ripped off.

I am also having the same issue as Sindaran. The registry file did nothing for me, either. Can you guys do your magic for me as well, please?
