Is it just my impression that the amount of bitching in custom games is far greater than in skirmish or pantheon games?

I seldomly play custom games but just now I had a QoT team member that constantly cursed our Oak because he didn't shield his ass.

I read stories of foul mouthed know-it-alls all the time here, but since I never met mates like this I thought you were exagerating.

:)

And now, first custom game since weeks and I get my first I'm-3-levels-below-you-and-it's-YOUR-fault mate.

Well, I rarely get to play pantheon or skirmish, so I can't talk about that much.  In custom, since you can often end up playing a more coordinated team than yours (especially if you are forces of darkness), it might make the lack of coordination on your own team a little more distressing, causing the bitching that we have all experienced.

 

Just a guess though.

that might be the reason. The other team stuck together most of the time and split up to cap flags when they trashed one of us. I must start playing in teams too. :P

From what I've seen, the coordinated team that gets crushed is a lot more vocal than the public team. Not that it makes me even hesitate to continue crushing them, mind you.

That's because you get matched with AI in Pantheon and Skirmish.

I had a Pantheon game the other day where a member on the other team kept cursing out the AI player in the global chat.  We kept telling him that the player was an AI, but I dont think he figured it out until about midway through.
