It's tough, isn't it? I try to avoid posint highly political retoric, but this was just to funny, and not that political....right?

I wonder how long a company could get away with it...

The left demonstrates once again why they keep losing elections. Good job in pointing out another example of the left's insanity.

At some point this will make it into the mainstream news. People will find out who the company was and then you can imagine their sales taking a hit -- needlessly.

A bit of googling turned up the name of the company that did this: Tom Bihn. Their explanation (to read it on their site, click the Link ) is as follows:

"This all began as an inside joke aimed (we think) at the president of our company, Tom Bihn. Many people have concluded the care label refers to other presidents - what can we say?"

Draginol,

It's only a joke. A political one, yeah. Commentary? Yeah. But so what. I think it's clever and amusing. Admit it.....who would think? As far as insanity...I think not. Lighten up!

Tom Bihn

Nice work...thanks!

Humor? Isn't that a reason? It's better that people express themselves using humor than violence when they are ticked about something, don't ya think?

NO! This is a silly childish act by someone upset that thier candidate didn't win. They didn't make a joke about it they sewed it in to who knows how many pieces of clothing for distribution in another country. Think about how stupid this makes us all look!

Yes, but make it Humor that only reflects on the person making the joke. This tag could be viewed as the entire company that made the garmet or even the entire country, depending on who reads it. Not to mention that it is a personal attack on the President of the United States as well. Sorry but I don't take well to someone printing such things about our president, no matter who he is.

typical lefty loonies at it one more time,instead of supporting the Pres. they support a race of cowards and backstabber {france}

^Ah, there it is.

In a very odd way, it reminds me of families trying to correspond with their family members in the concentration camps (or jail), like writing messages under the stamps or smuggling in nail files in bars of soap, i.e. "We must not let the oppressors know we're communicating--psssssssssssst!"

I wish we woud have thought of this when clinton was in office.......imagine the fun companies could have had with underware labels then
Garment stains, big girl underware (monica) hehe, underware for interns with special cigar pouches signed by Willy himself. Then there would be the Willy/Paula Jones line......don't get me started hahaha.

Simply brilliant...absolutely fantastic! And anyone complaining about this should learn to take a joke.

By the by, French isn't a race, its a nationality. White is a race. Black is a race. Just thought I'd mention that.

This makes us look stupid? The president can't say simple multisyllabic words, and this makes us look stupid?

From the website:

SALES SKYROCKET AFTER MEDIA EXPOSE' ON BAG LABELS

TOM BIHN DESIGNS T-SHIRTS BASED ON LABELS; ALL PROCEEDS TO GO TO HOMELESS VETERANS' CHARITY

PORT ANGELES, WA: Tom Bihn, a Port Angeles-based company that designs, manufactures and sells laptop bags, messenger bags, backpacks and briefcases, has garnered worldwide media attention this week after a Web log posted the contents of the label sewn into most bags. (See a list of bags that have the label to the right →)

Way to nail this story, lol.

Exactly! What makes us look stupid is that we have an incompetent administration. The lefties had nothing to do with it, and for that, I'm proud. Obviously, I did not support Bush, and throughout the next four years, I will continue to NOT support him. He's a buffoon, for sure, and the rest of the world knows this. History will not treat Bush kindly. Of that, I am so sure.

You are in for a very big disappointment.  You have no clue, and will remain that way until you start listening.  Notice I did not say agreeing, just listening.  A habit you sadly lack.

Good job Left! You look like whining fools again !

Technically, this is not aimed at The President of the United States. The fact is, because you took it that way, only validates the point that it is hilarious!!! Good work LeapingLizard!!

Actually, the most humerous aspect to this "jab" is......this is what their message has been reduced to.
We can't get him in a national election so we'll do the next best thing - mock a US President in the undies of the french. On it's own, it is pretty funny though - and equally pathetic in it's under-lying message (pun intended)

Kinda sad they can't own up to who they're really poking insults at, just another example of how people wont have the b@ll$ to admit when theyve done something wrong.

Well, as the left gets more and more irrelevant in American politics and business they can at least hold on that they have a "sense of humor".

The shirt certainly doesn't bug me. I think the left wingers need to demonstrate their disdain of the President much more loudly, and with much more anger. Make sure you call the President an idiot as loudly as you can. And throw in some "We're also superior to those who don't recognize the President is an idiot" to go along with it. That way you are sure to do well.

So when the Republicans control congress at a 70/30 level you can at least say (smugly of course) "Oh yea! Well, at least we're funny!"

This really bothers me. I have never thought of myself as superior to another human being, yet I consider myself very liberal. This shows ignorance on your part in believing that all liberals feel this way. There are conservatives that feel superior to liberals as it works both ways. I always considered you more thoughtful than to make a comment like that, maybe I was wrong.
