If I tell you to do something, do it.

If I tell you to do something, do it.

I wrote a guide on this, remember. If I give you an order, you do it. Unless you have something specific to say about it, or you have a better plan, then please, do tell us about it. Don't get pissed about me bossing around, there's a little thing called teamwork. And usually, that means that someone needs to take the roll of a leader. Otherwise, it's one big clusterfuck. And when I say 'lock that flag before they teleport into our base,' LOCK THAT FUCKING FLAG. Yes, I have my bad games every once in a while, and yes, I've fed before. But if I'm the only one offering a solid plan, and no one has an alternative, you'd best take my advice, because it's a lot more sensible then walking around and hoping you can take that 3 on 1 that just got me.

I'd add some caveats -

1.  make sure the people on your team don't know how to play before you start telling them what to do.

2.  In terms of overall strategy you can get things done by asking questions most of the time -

"who is getting the gold upgrade?"

"I have 7k gold, should I get upgrades or more gear?"

"Shall we get giants now?"

If you don't get any answer to a polite question then you won't get a better response from "lock that flag. Now! ZOMG!!"

3.  Most of the best teams I've played with the convo rarely gets beyond "ooM" and "b" even against highly skilled opp

End of Ke5trel's quote

When people start trying to boss me around early on in a game it's quite annoying; especially after it should be obvious I know what I'm doing.  If you sound arrogant, you're not getting cooperation.  Ke5trel is spot on in his advice, especially the first point.

and this is why its easier to play with freinds, or at eth very least getting random people to join vent (then become freinds :P). They you can at least make plans on the fly instead of just yelling shit in a way that almsot sounds disrespectful.

Still being able to spend 30secs discussing a plan as your moving from one point to another works alot better then jsut yelling "CAP THE FUCKING FLAG".

Some thigns along the line of "please dont go 3v1; your going to lose" makes sense. But yelling or CAPLOCKING... doesnt realy help :)
