Half Price Key

It has come to my attention that stardock has sent out half price keys to those who purchased the game. I really would love to join the community of this game so if anyone out there would throw me one of those keys I would really appreciate it if you could throw it to me in a personal message thanks a ton.

after looking at it again however it looks like i misread it it sas you guys will e getting a email soon for this offer. i thought it said you would be getting the email today.

Because of issues with the Demigod launch, Brad Wardell has stated that purchasers of Demigod will get a 1/2 of coupon for the game to give to another person.  Those coupopns have not been sent out yet.

And I think the game is a friggin' blast to play at full price.  It will only continue to improve too.  :)

the game is worth 40 dollars when it functions correctly

which is only 50% of the time so...that clearly leaves the price at 20$

Speaking of which, what is the ETA on these coupons now? I imagine stardock (save for the proxies) have most of their proposed MP fixes in and I would like to get a friend in before the steam dies down even more.

Q: What is publisher Stardock planning to do for Demigod players?
A: The plan is to send out an email this week to users who purchased Demigod prior to today with a coupon for 50% off of Demigod that they can give to their friends.   In addition, next week we will begin sending coupons for other things on Impulse to active Demigod players to help ensure a vibrant multiplayer community. We plan to keep doing that periodically.

Does anyone know who gets these?  I just ordered on Amazon, but I dont actually have the game yet.  I'd really like a coupon for my dad, but it looks like I wont get one because I'm not registered yet.  Is it worth buying now and cancelling my amazon order for the coupon?

Only those who have had registered prior to May 10th should be getting coupons, that's what was announced and so far at least there hasn't been a different deadline set.

With Stardock/Demigod its best to expect the worst and hope for the best.  That way you are never disappointed, and the odd time they deliver on expectations its rather rewarding.
