Bug or not? Stardock please confirm

The fact that everyone can shoot/attack while moving in this game except Torchbearer in Fire form... seems like a bug to me. Please confirm if this is intended or not? It is very annoying to say the least...

its not a bug.  he can fire while moving in ice form.

it isn't  or he would be even more powerful  ice aura decreases attack speed and speed fire aura increases urs so if u could more and kill it would be really annouying and would make him a bit op

plus tb is better using both forms i like using rain of ice with firball and fire nova  plus the enhancements

For me it's not a bug. Fire torchbearer is already powerfull enough.

It sure seems like a bug... why can everyone else in every form attack while moving EXCEPT TB in FIRE form?

Because if they allowed TB in Fire form to attack while moving with that awesome fire aura, it'd be a bit too strong.

So Oak shouldn't be allowed to attack while moving if he has Soul Power.

the key word is to run from ub  or out tank him  rook  most people play him as a tower spammer and 350 god strenght isn't that much consideing he is slow  and that  ub and reg both do more then that

It could be a bug, but I always just thought it was part of his playstyle. When you want to chase just hit whatever you have bound to your 4th button and you'll keep chasing and shoot icebolts.

It's not a bug, it is a feature of frost mode - allowing it for fire would make him too powerful.

That's stupid. There is no reason to not be able to fire while in...fire mode while moving.

Uh... maybe it's to do with balance?  Fire dishes out more damage with spells to begin with.

Ok, I'm being harsh, I'm not calling anyone stupid, just that it would be VERY stupid if that was the case. I remember chasing people in fire form in Beta.

There is no chance this is intended. It has to be a bug. For my sanity's sake.

I can't see it being a bug, since most others can fire while moving it seems like they would have to intentionally make it happen.

Unless it's a side effect of the two modes, can queen of thorns attack while moving in both modes?

Wrong. Even if TB have 8.1 in run speed with both swift anklet and speedbots and fire aura, he still can´t shoot-on-the-move even against an un-upgraded Rook! TB just moves a few steps, stops, tries to get a shot of, but rook have moved out of range before tb has gotten his shot of, so he discontinues the shot, starts chasing again, stops ->repeat. He never gets a shot of chasing anything no matter how slow it is... in fire form...

Just try anyone else, regulus with or without wings have no trouble chase-attacking, neither does QoT or anyone else.

What do you mean much damage? Flawed logic! TB normal attack does no more damage than anyone elses normal attack, even less than most others actually. Compare to most melee attackers he does less, and compared to regulus and QoT who also shoot, he does about the same, although without the range of Regulus or the Splash damage of QoT. And they can both run-while-shooting.

Ahh i think i edited my posted and left the wrong word in, there u go

 

It's not just about the normal attack, you need to compare abilities as well, TB has all damaging abiliities in fire mode, this isn't the case for ice mode either.  In addition to that the fire cooldowns are pretty small, i think the ice ones have longer cooldowns.

 

If they did it for balance then it's fine as is, if not there is the risk that it will make him OP and then his abilities will get nerfed.

 

You need to look at the whole package when comparing DG's, if you are comparing one ability or even the normal attack by itself, then you are doing it wrong.

soul power only buffs dmg i believe not speed

and fire form is  very powerful as is doesn't need to be fixed
