Demigod Patches/Updates

I havn't seen (or looked all that hard tbh) for any patchnotes or gradual updates (dev blogs and the like) regarding this game. Would anybody happen to have a link handy? Thanks.

You would think that by now developers would have learned to make a sticky on the forum. It baffles me why *professionals* cannot learn basic stuff like commucating with the customers effectively.

Why would asking the devs to do something so basic be trolling?

I don't want to have to wade through posts to find the patch notes. That's why forum software has stickies...

Ironclad does it right... When you click on the "History" link in Impulse the patchnotes are right there. GPG puts the ReadMe file in the History link for Demigod. WTF does the ReadMe have to do with History of the game?

Communicating with the customers... the CEO of stardock posts messages just about every day explaining what they are working on and how things are going.  Do you want a personal phone call or something?  I realize you must not read the forums that much to say something so funny.  I agree a simple patch note would suffice but for those who wonder what is going on all you have to do is read the journals on the front page of the website.

Sorry.. I already posted that I prefer to NOT wade through other threads to find info that should be properly presented.

I don't think it's asking too much to have patch/update/changelog info readily available at a glance.

There are lots of other developers that do this... GPG should do it to. Well... They did with Supreme Commander when it was new... I guess they forgot this time around.

There aren't any changelogs because nothing is changing, other than connection improvements.

When there are actual patches, not netcode updates, you will be able to right click Demigod in Impulse and select View History to look at the changelog.

Don't blame the dev's for your utter laziness...

Oh my dear CRC, why would they have a patch note if you can just go to demigod on impulse and see view history, but i guess you were not aware of your stupidity, if you would have read Frogboys journal at least once you wouldnt dare to talk about stardocks record on communication with thier customers.

Right - go click that history button and tell me what kind of patch notes you find.

I'm not lazy. I just have better things to do with my time than read every post in a forum looking for info that should be stickied.

They're in their own subform for SD newsposts, no searching required. It might not be obvious for the first visit that it's called journals not anouncements, but it takes a minimal amount of effort to figure it out.

The the last update I see to patch history in impulse was on May 5th simply stating what it was, preparation for the proxy update. All the mini patches since the release have been connectivity related and don't really warrant a detailed change log as gameplay hasn't changed, especially since it's all WIP up to now.

The information is there, all that's left to argue is your opinion that it should have been where you wanted it to be. As with all opinions you can't be offended if people don't share it.

Well let's see... none. Just like the patches! The only patch was the day 0 update, which is stickied at the top of this forum. Judging by the amount of stickied posts, I think the devs are capable of using a forum(unlike you).

Yarlen was once the master of Patch notes, hopefully he steps up again!

Ummm, there is an entire forum here called "Developer Journals".  Just click that.
