I'm depressed...

Yup, depressed by a game... This only every happens when I like a game alot, but just can't deal with all the bugs.

-SIM going in the negatives: Sorry but this is the result of shotty programing, my CPU shouldn't be craping itself because of this game going more then 15 minutes.

-Only Connectivity: OMG! Could you make it take any longer, or any harder to get an online game going successfully?

-Destiny Points (purchases) not saving correctly: Favor items are a huge advantage in this game, and this bug just makes me want to cut myself.

Balance: I'm far from convinced this game is properly balanced... lawl...

The game really is great, and tbh this is my favority type of strategy, its so simple to micro manage, but at the same time has a tone of dept.

So yeah... I'm sad...

It's balanced, for some of the generals, you just have to get use to playing a support role and letting you teammates be the demigod killers.

Get a better computer

Get better at the game

Give the game some time

In the meantime, hone your skills against nightmare bots or find some friends to play customs with.

Sim issues??? You, sir, have clearly never played Supreme Commander!!

People need to get some patience. First week after launch and you're expecting everything to happen in a flash. THIS IS PROGRAMMING AND ENGINEERING! NOT MENT TO BE ONE IN ONE DAY MY FRIENDS!

Sim problems?   I don't understand... Do you rock a geforce 6800 or something?

Eh?  It's pretty nicely balanced demigod by demigod.

lol /b/. Most games work on day 1...

I'm kinda tired with people saying stuff about the balance issues. I personally think it is balanced, but it also depends on how you play together with your teammates. Like my brother or me playing alone would get killed online, but playing together we can do pretty well and put up a fight.

Dunno what games you've been playing, as that certainly doesn't hold true across 'most' games. Especially for the PC.

Have you tried taking happy pills? How about chocolate ice cream? :cylon: I agree with you, it is sad that this game came out buggy but that's the video game industry for you, just wait a while and they'll hammer most of the stuff out

This man speaks the truth. Plus you need to understand this is Stardocks first really big attempt at doing online. (If you watched one of Brads videos. I think it was 7... correct me if I'm wrong.) So yeah of course things will go wrong but it seems more for Stardock because there... 'amature' in the field we are in right now which is multiplayer. Making mistakes is a GOOD thing as they learn from it.

I disagree about the balance... but I wholly agree about favour. Just lost all my favour and upgrades. And all my achievements. Didn't gain any of them in my last game either.

Ya releasing a multiplayer game without a functioning multiplayer is a GOOD thing. -_-

I have to fully agree here. If any game were to be perfect on release it would never be released. Someone would always find fault with it.

I'm personally sick of the griping, one of the main reasons I ignore forums. Flaming can go also.

I suppose they released when they did as they had a good product at it's most ready time. It is virtually impossible to test every single system configuration under the sun, just like an OS. I can't imagine the gripes MS will have with Windows 7... <end>

There are some people who have issues with game performance, which can be 'solved' by running the game with /nosound. I've seen people reporting this, ranging from low end systems to high end systems. The issue is related to some bad sound coding and has nothing to do with the CPU or graphics card.

Seriously, if you think it is imbalanced you should play DG you think is awesome.

You'll either find that it is much more the skill behind the DG, or so many people will be playing the same DG that it'll get balanced so people play the others.
