Gameplay mechanic

I got Demigod yesterday and so far I'm having lots of fun in the single player. If you hate incredibly repititive micromanagement I think you'd appreciate the structure of this game. I attempted twice for multiplayer but with no success.

One question: Is there a way to rapidly jump to an area of the map? I'm used to clicking on the mini-map with other RTS titles to jump to that area of the map but in Demigod, clicking on the mini-map does nothing. I subcounsiously clicked on the mini-map so many times only to get startled that my main view had not changed correspondingly LOL.

Is there an intended alternate way to "jump" to other areas of the map without scrolling all the way there with the mouse or wasd keys? I think this is a pretty fundamental gameplay mechanic to sort out.

Yep, I totally agree.

This goes along with the idea of the generals having a hud bar with minion health IMO.

Things that go without saying.

The other thing I'd like to see w/ the minimap is a box showing the current viewing area.  This would be handy just due to the symatry of the map and to have a point of reference for things.
