Demigod fails to connect to multiplayer

Yesterday I bought Demigod through the download system on Impulse. After a couple of hours playing singleplayer I considered myself ready to take on the online function of the game.

This is where the problem began.

Apperently it simply does not accept my login / password that I use for Impulse which it claims to use. Even when I try to connect to a server through Impulse I get stuck on the multiplayer login screen. I have tried to changed my password, tried to change my username, and none of it seemed to work. So ya, now I am basically stuck in the warmup part of the game without the actual fun bit, ie; the multiplayer.

Any thoughts?

Same problem here..  Multiplayer needs some major work. I don't think we'll see a smooth multiplayer for a while. Don't bother trying to change your password etc. until Stardock let's you know what's going on.

I had the same problem but I changed my username and password in impulse then no problems getting in...err until I tried to play multiplayer...and nothing worked there...***SIGH****

I am having the same problem as well. This is very disappointing as I purchased it for multiplayer.

I just hope that this problem is patched out soon. Playing versus bots stops being fun fairly rapidly.

 

Right, seems that I'm made of hopeless amounts of fail and didnt notice the Merge account thing on the support forums. Sorry for the inconvienance.

Same problem here it's a shame. Yesterday i could log in and "Try" to play a multiplayer game. Today after last update,

1) It takes forever to access the login window (by clicking on internet game)

2) The my account is not recognized anymore (wring username/password)

3) When i try to change my username i get an error each type i type akey.

There is basically no solo part in the game : What is called solo is what anyone except gpg would call skirmish .........

So what's left ?
