Custom Race oddness

Hi guys.

Im having a weird problem with my custom race.

 

I start up a game with it and for some reason right at the very start my ships wont move. At all. Whatsoever.

 

I can select a space to move them to and i get the "movement pending" thingey appearing above them - ya know to say how many turns it would tak to move them?

So i tried hitting TURN and the game just seems to hang when I do so. The button is "gone" and the turn doesnt seem to progress at all.

My machine is only 2 years old so it should be able to run GC2 TA without any problems (my old 7 year old machine ran the Hi-Res mod with only a little stuttering). I dont know why its doing this.

 

Normal races seem to work fine. I was replaying the DL campaign and I noticed annoyingly that the hanging problem with the TURN occurred mid mission in the first DL mission. Again dont know whats causing it.

 

Anyone have any ideas?

What version # of the game are you playing?

Ahem. As I say TA aka Twilight of the Arnor. Latest patched version.

 

I found out it was a problem with AF Ronins Federation ship style which i had downloaded to use with the Custom race. I think its because the ship style hasnt properly defined the Survey/Construction/Transport/Colonisation/Spore vessels. The hanging problem when hitting turn or done from a window is still occurring.

Damn, I fail @ reading lol.

So, even if you disable all mods, that ship hang still happens?
