boot skin pro....on objectdeskplus

on vista and xp in impulse, when i try to install  boot skin pro i get the same response... "i dont have the correct operating system".....

so im kind of confused....what op is it for? or is this just a glitch?

Bootskin Pro is vista only software. It's definetely a glitch.

What version of Impulse?  What version of Bootskin are you trying to install?

well, when i bought my upgrade for object desktop, i went straight to impulse and it updated itself and i had to reboot the pc...so im assuming its the latest... and as for the version of bootskin...its just the one that is available for download on impulse.......(same story for xp)

 

ps: ive never downloaded bootskin before.....so for me its a new install..(incase that helps)

In Impulse, when you select an app from My Desktop, in the upper right it will tell you Size, installed version, and last updated.

 

If you click on the ? in Impulse and then About Impulse the top line will tell you teh version #.

okays well for bootskin pro it says: Available version: 1.01.038

impulse version is : 3.11.340

 

thanks for that zu.....you probably know by now im not a techy....and never seem to know these things!
