Impulse: Can't Run Without Advertising for Games Displayed and Annoying Sounds Played??????

Impulse setup dated January 18, 4 mb install file

Geesh, you can't be serious. Do I have to watch these multiple windows trying to sell me games everytime I launch Impulse? Please somebody tell me what's going on. Maybe I've done something wrong. Otherwise this is a blatant piece of adware such as I would never have expected Stardock to try to foist on its loyal following.

Please explain. Thank you for your help.

Reinstall the most current Impulse client from here: Impulse Client - Full

Then select a differnt tab.  You need never see the store tab ("Explore") is you don;'t want to.

you can always click the + next to the tabs and choose manage tabs and then hide the tabs you don't want to see. On my impulse all i have are the community, desktop and Tools tabs all others are hidden :)

Thanks all. As I get older, I guess I get impatient more easily instead of taking the time to sleuth and figure things out for myself.

We get this reported alot to us.  Future versions of Impulse will probably include something that will draw more attention to the other tabs at the top.
