First of all hi everybody :). I just got the game since I'm a big fan of 4X games (even though this is not a true TBS 4X). This game feels like an update of Conquest: Frontier Wars, if you know of this game.

Anyways, I know that all updates are now done through IMPULSE but I was wondering which is the last stand-alone patch? I read somwhere that it was 1.05, but for the life of me I can't find that forum thread to confirm before starting the download.  Also, do I need to download all previous patches before 1.05 (1.01, 1.02 etc) before installing 1.05?

Yes, I will admit that all Sith have big egos. Howerver it is not bad compared to others, I am not as evil as other Sith, I can be simpathetic in many ways. Hey I may be powerful and can travel outside of the Star Wars Galaxy; nevery realy liked that place, I can never beat Annatr's lmao pic and his total awsomeness having nearly 300 karma.

Well, detachable face was already unraveled in a semi-recent documentary (Face/Off). Detachable head really isn't anything special, you can do it with many household tools, though I find chainsaws work best. The re-attaching is where it gets tricky.
