If you guys could think of 20 questions that someone might want answered about Demigod what would they be?
the regular FAQ questions? like what is demigod, release date, etc...

7. how is demigod death handled? is there a death penalty?
8. how versatile are the diferent demigods? are there many diferent ways to play each? how are they customised?
I got this one that will probably appeal to alot
1. I enjoy playing DoTA, will I like Demigod ?
which you could answer by pointing out a few differences between Demigod and DoTA, such as dotas limitation through the Wc3 engine aswell as your will to evolve the gamestyle into something both better and more unique then was possible in wc3. make sure to state that this is not DoTA, but also that this isnt a bad thing.
I sorta addressed this in my review/suggestion thread in the Beta test forum. As i said, "if people are going to compare this game to DOTA and judge it thusly, they will be sorely disappointed. While the game does borrow heavily from DOTA, and I mean HEAVILY, it is not exactly the same game."
How is this game like DotA? How is it different?
What kind of game is this? Is it an RTS or an RPG?
How long does it take to learn?
How long to games take to play?
Is it single player or multiplayer? More one than the other?
Does it have DRM?
Boxers or briefs?
Digital download or retail distribution?
Will my PC be able to run it? Minimum/recommended specs?
Will it store achievments?
The difference between an Assassin and a General.

I haven't played the beta and I would like to ask the following questions as I'm still not sure if I'll be able to get in to this game.
1) What other games or game types that I might have played would help me when playing Demigod? (The question what type of game is Demigod obviously isn't straight forward but I figured phrasing the way I have might help to answer whether it's the kind of game I'd get in to)
2) What kind of game matching system is there? If I play with friends is it easy for us to set up a game to play against others, or a game with us vs AI or for us to enter a game together? On a related note am I able to block/ignore certain players (their account, not just a changeable user name) from ever playing with them again if they are racially abusive or something else that I do not wish to encounter?
3) How many settings are there to customise when creating a game? Some people love options but I hate keep entering games where someone has set up crazy options just how they like it.
4) Can I spectate battles or even set up AI vs AI battles to spectate to get a feel for the game?
5) Is there colour or other visual customisation for my Avatar? If I am a Rook do I look just like any other Rook?
6) Does my Avatars appearance change based on how I have customised my Demigod with items etc. so eventually I can recognise an opponents capabilities based on his appearance?
7) What pace is the multiplayer gaming? Dawn of War fast or Myth: The fallen Lords slow? Related to pace but more important to me in multiplayer games. Is the action non stop? Dawn of War, for example, is non stop action and micro, other games offer respite with smaller periods of action.
I will be able to say that for 5, since you want the answer now, each character slot has a different color, and each demigod has that color displayed somehow somewhere. Other than that you really can't tell a difference, but the colors do stand out.
1- What is the largest map size that will be made (custom Mods?) ? Historically, I always chosen map size based on how long of a game I want. Adds very much to replayability of most games I feel.
All I can come up with for now. I assume you don't need to be told to include the usual Release Date/System Requirements/Operating System type info? ![]()
