Help with a gift...

Hi all,

For Christmas I decided to buy Demigod for my brother. The problem is that I used my email to buy the game for him...

He is able to install the game. However, when he tries to run it, he has the following error message:

It seems like the game cannot start because the serial number is under my email address and not his...

He emailed 2 times stardock support for a month now and never got a response. I would like to know if within this forum anyone can help us.

PS. How can we give a gift within Impulse like we have in Steam.

PS2 How can I track this post so I receive an email whenever someone respond to it...

well i suggest you write to stardock and maybe they can tranfer his email with yours so he'll be the one who "OWNS IT"

You need to send us an e-mail to support@stardock.com, let us know what your brothers account e-mail address is, then as long as he has a valid account, we can transfer the game to his account.

You can copy me also, dmarquis@stardock.com if you wish.

Ok, well I'll do but my brother already did about a month ago now. It is sad we got no response... I will try myself...

When you fill out your shipping information(name, address, email etc), there should be two check boxes near the bottom of the information area.  The lower one should be the one to check of you want to sent a gift to some one.  If the box is checked, the continue button will bring you to a screen to enter the information of the person getting the gift.( I use the gift option to bill to one email address and send what I buy to my Impulse account address)

Thank you all, everything is fixed and well explained.

I must say however, that this checkbox is well hidden... but that may be my fault.

My brother never received a response from Stardock because his spam blocked the emails... this is fixed also.
